We met in 2005, in the 8th grade and immediately became best friends. Within our friend group, we were always the girls with the cameras. Everyone counted on us to capture all of the football games, birthday parties, camping trips and get-togethers.

Our love for photography is as old as our friendship

Amber's mother is a professional photographer and owns a studio where we grew up. Our first stop after school was her studio where we learned everything we know today. At first we helped with small tasks like filing and filling print orders, and eventually, a camera was put into our hands. We learned everything about portraiture, composition, lighting and editing by the time we were 16 years old.

We both photographed our first wedding as teenagers, and the rest is history. We quickly realized that our true passion was working with couples and capturing their journey together.

We are so grateful for this journey as it has allowed us to grow up in the business. We have now been photographing weddings for over 11 years, traveled around the world with our couples, been published on multiple platforms and been able to perfect our art.

One of my favorite aspects of being a wedding photographer is being able to meet our couples and get to know them. I really love how each wedding is unique and every couple has their "thing." And ultimately, that is my goal; to capture what makes you, YOU. Both Amber and I grew up in the photography industry and it is a vital part of my life.

Before we made photography our full time career, I worked in software and education. Something that many people don’t know about me is that I taught middle school Spanish (and of course did weddings almost every weekend)! With each career that I had, I knew that something was missing. When we decided to make photography our full time career, I really felt like I was where I was supposed to be.

When I'm not working, you will usually find me cuddled up on the couch with my golden retriever, Blueberry and eating sushi!

I was introduced to photography as a child when my Mom founded her own photography studio in Mason, OH. Assisting with sessions & developing film in the bathtub are some of my favorite childhood memories. One of the most important things about me is, I LOVE being a Mom! I have a 2 year old little girl named Helen and a baby boy named Leo! The ability to freeze moments in time is a huge reason why I love photography; being able to capture moments with my family and do the same for my clients is so special to me.

When I’m not working, you will usually find me sipping on a coffee in a Thrift Store.
